Focusing on JESUS through the Holidays

Focusing on JESUS through the Holidays

The Gift of Jesus: Gratitude

This season is all about remembering the best gift ever, Jesus. God gave us His Son so we could have eternal life, and that’s something to be thankful for and celebrate every single day.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thess 5:18

Let your heart be filled with gratitude as you reflect on all that He’s done and continues to do.

The Hope of Jesus: Hope

When Jesus was born, hope entered the world. His presence reminds us that we are never alone, and that healing, strength, and peace are always within reach.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philip 4:13

No matter what you’re facing, the hope of Jesus anchors your heart and reminds you that all things are possible through Him.

The Peace and Joy of Jesus: Peace & Joy

The story of Christ’s birth is full of peace and joy — a reminder that even when life feels heavy, His peace can steady our hearts. That peace opens the door for joy to fill our lives, even in difficult times.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philip 4:7

When you rest in His peace, you’ll find new joy rising within you — joy that the world cannot give or take away.

The Love & Presence of Jesus: Unfailing Love

In Isaiah’s prophecy of the birth of Jesus, we read:

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which means God with us.” Isaiah 7:14

No matter what season you’re in, God is with you. Through the Holy Spirit, our gift, our comforter, our helper, our guide, and our friend, He remains ever-present. He walks beside you, dwells within you, and will never leave or forsake you. His love is constant, faithful, and unfailing.

When You Need His Presence Most

When You’re Stressed

Take a deep breath and remember, God already knows your needs. Leave it with Him and Trust Him to guide your steps, calm your spirit, and give you rest.

When You’re Grieving

God understands your pain. He’s a loving Father full of compassion and comfort, holding you close even when your heart feels broken.

When You Feel Lonely

You are never truly alone. Jesus left us the Holy Spirit and He is always with you, guiding you, loving you, and carrying you through every moment.

Putting Faith into Action

Give Like Jesus

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

God not only gave us His Son — He also gave us His Spirit, who lives within us. That same Spirit fills our hearts with generosity, compassion, and joy to give to others, especially in this season of love and gratitude.

Serve Like Jesus

Let the heart of Christmas inspire you to serve. Reach out to those who are hurting, share kindness freely, and reflect the light of Christ wherever you go.

Celebrate Jesus

Make Jesus the center of your celebration. Set aside time for worship, prayer, and reflection on the true meaning of Christmas.

Share Jesus

Ask God for boldness and love as you share His message with others — because the story of Jesus is too good to keep to yourself.

This Holiday Season…

May your heart rest in the gratitude, hope, peace, joy, and unfailing love of Jesus.
