FREEDOM: Building Blocks - Block 5

Bible Study Building Blocks is a growing series of guided, Scripture rooted studies designed to help us build a strong foundation with God, one connected piece at a time.

Each main Block focuses on an important area of spiritual growth. That Block is then explored through smaller, connected Parts, giving us room to slow down, study meaningful Scripture passages, reflect, write, pray, and take a next faithful step.

These studies are more than daily devotionals or generic reflection workbooks. Each day helps us engage the biblical text, understand what it reveals about God, notice the people, choices, promises, warnings, and patterns within the passage, and respond personally through prayer and faithful action.

We build across the series, and we build within each Block. Each Part gives us another piece of truth to study, hold onto, and begin living out.

About the FREEDOM Block

FREEDOM is Block 5 of The Next Faithful Step Series.

This complete Block begins with the freedom Jesus secured through the cross and follows that freedom into the thoughts, choices, relationships, reactions, and everyday moments where we learn to live under God’s loving lead.

Biblical freedom is not independence from God or permission to follow every feeling or desire. It is life restored under His lead.

Across eight connected Parts, we’ll explore what it means to receive freedom in Christ, bring old holds into the light, follow the Holy Spirit, live with love and wisdom, experience whole person freedom, guard what God is forming, and allow freedom to become visible through spiritual fruit and faithful witness.

Through Scripture, guided teaching, personal study questions, reflection, prayer, and practical next steps, we’ll learn how freedom becomes more than something we understand. It becomes a life we receive, practice, steward, and live.

Inside the FREEDOM Block

Part 1: Freed Through the Cross

Begin at the cross, where Jesus breaks sin’s claim, removes condemnation, brings us into sonship, and opens the way to new life.

Part 2: Breaking Old Holds

Bring old lies, fears, shame, false agreements, painful patterns, and familiar responses into the light of God’s truth.

Part 3: Walking in the Freedom of the Spirit

Learn how the Holy Spirit helps us pause, receive truth, renew our thinking, recognize what is leading, and choose a faithful response.

Part 4: Free to Love, Live Wisely, and Obey

See how freedom becomes love, wisdom, peace, healthy boundaries, willing obedience, and choices that build rather than harm.

Part 5: Whole Person Freedom

Explore how God’s freedom reaches the spirit, soul, and body, touching how we think, feel, respond, rest, receive, and live.

Part 6: Freedom Revealed, Received, and Lived

Discover how God unveils what has been covered, opens our capacity to receive freedom, and gives enough light for the next faithful step.

Part 7: Guarding and Stewarding Freedom

Learn how truth, return, practice, wisdom, boundaries, support, resistance, and abiding help protect what God is forming.

Part 8: Freedom Becomes Fruit and Witness

Recognize how Spirit formed freedom becomes visible through love, peace, self control, service, faithful action, and a life that points back to God.

Throughout the Block, We’ll:
