WISDOM: Building Blocks - Block 2

Bible Study Building Blocks is a growing series of guided, Scripture-rooted studies designed to help us build a strong foundation with God one connected piece at a time.

Each main Block focuses on an important area of spiritual growth. That Block is then explored through smaller, connected Parts, giving us room to slow down, study meaningful Scripture passages, reflect, write, pray, and take a next faithful step.

These studies are more than verse-of-the-day devotionals or generic reflection workbooks. Each day helps us engage the biblical text, understand what it reveals about God, notice the people, choices, promises, warnings, and patterns within the passage, and respond personally through prayer and faithful action.

We build across the series, and we build within each Block. Each Part gives us another piece of truth to study, hold onto, and begin living out.

About the WISDOM Study

WISDOM is Block 2 of The Next Faithful Step Series. This six-Part Block invites us to explore biblical wisdom as a God-given way of seeing, discerning, and living faithfully under His lead.

Throughout the Block, we’ll begin with God as the source of wisdom and learn why wisdom is more than intelligence, information, or knowing the right answer. Biblical wisdom begins with reverence for God, remains teachable, stays connected to love, recognizes what is true, and becomes visible through faithful choices, peaceful fruit, and a life that continues to depend on Him.

The study also explores how wisdom shapes identity, helps us bring distortion into God’s light, and teaches us to recognize what is leading our thoughts, reactions, and decisions. Through the biblical picture of Wisdom’s seven-pillared house, we’ll see how God uses formation to build a life that can stand, grow, and carry greater responsibility with Him.

The Block unfolds through six connected Parts:

Part 1: Wisdom Revealed
Knowing God, Receiving Truth, and Recognizing His Leading

Part 2: Wisdom and Love
Keeping Your Heart Close to God

Part 3: Wisdom and Identity
Seeing Yourself Through God’s Truth

Part 4: Wisdom and Truth
Learning to Recognize What Is Real

Part 5: The House Wisdom Builds
The Seven Wisdom Pillars

Part 6: Discernment
Testing What Is Leading
