Bible Study Building Blocks is a growing series of guided, Scripture-rooted studies designed to help us build a strong foundation with God one connected piece at a time.

Each main Block focuses on an important area of spiritual growth. That Block is then explored through smaller, connected Parts, giving us room to slow down, study meaningful Scripture passages, reflect, write, pray, and take a next faithful step.

These studies are more than verse-of-the-day devotionals or generic reflection workbooks. Each day helps us engage the biblical text, understand what it reveals about God, notice the people, choices, promises, warnings, and patterns within the passage, and respond personally through prayer and faithful action.

We build across the series, and we build within each Block. Each Part gives us another piece of truth to study, hold onto, and begin living out.

About the SURRENDER Study

SURRENDER is Block 3 of The Next Faithful Step Series. This six-Part Block invites us to explore what it means to trust God with what we are carrying, receive His truth, yield our hearts to Him, and take the next faithful step with wisdom.

Throughout the Block, we’ll look more closely at surrender as an ongoing response of trust. Through Scripture, guided teaching, personal study questions, reflection, prayer, and practical next steps, we’ll explore how surrender shapes identity, prayer, heart posture, discernment, responsibility, and faithful action.

Each Part is a complete five-day mini study and may be purchased separately. The Parts can be completed in order as a connected 30-day journey or selected individually according to the truth most meaningful for your current season.

Part 1: Trusting God With What We’ve Been Trying to Hold

Bring God the burdens, fears, responsibilities, outcomes, and questions you have been carrying. Learn to recognize what is yours to do faithfully and what can be released into His care.

Part 2: Receiving the Truth God Says About You

Notice the messages that have shaped the way you see yourself. Return to who God is, receive what He says is true about you, and make room for Him to renew the way you think and live.

Part 3: Jesus and the Yielded Yes

Walk with Jesus through Gethsemane and explore the strength found in honest prayer, closeness with the Father, and a yielded yes, even when the next faithful step feels difficult or costly.

Part 4: Surrender or Resistance?

Slow down and notice what may be guiding your heart. Explore how desires, fears, hurt, wisdom, and personal preferences can influence your response to God, and learn to return to Him with honesty and willingness.

Part 5: Returning to Trust With Wisdom

Discover how surrender works alongside truth, discernment, healthy boundaries, preparation, faithful responsibility, and wise support. Identify what God has entrusted to you without carrying the entire outcome.

Part 6: Following the Breadcrumbs

Learn to recognize the Scriptures, convictions, repeated truths, wise counsel, and small faithful steps God may be using to guide you forward. We do not need the whole map to walk faithfully with God today.
